It says a lot that the foundation of Captiva 246 BR-series has been in Rinker's stable for years. Why mess with a good design? Rinker developed this 246 to amp up the water-sports application. And they did it from top to bottom, or vice versa. Rinker's designers are true water-sports aficionados whose touches are seen everywhere on this model. The in-floor storage compartment is lined with plastic to prevent nicks to the boat and to the ski or wakeboard. The seat on the swim platform lifts to reveal a compartment for tow lines and other small gear. There are four storage compartments total aft of the cockpit, so there's no need to haul wet gear into the boat.
This is a gorgeous boat, well powered by a 350 MAG MPI and propelled by the Bravo 3 easy to maneuver drive. She only has 397 hours and has been carefully loved each one of them. It is a deep vee hull to cut through rough water. The carpet snaps out, covers snap on, bimini shade top opens up, dual battery switch shuts off, bolsters flip up or down, stereo gets loud or quiet (Point Being: It is a well equipped boats)!
Notable Features * LED lighting for water activities in the evening. * Bow ladder makes it easy to re-board the boat from the beach. * Clamshell-enclosed head is a good place for young passengers to hide from the cold, when it's not being used for something else. * Huge aft sun pad covers a large engine bay, and will be a popular hangout. * Swim platform has a wash-down shower, rumble seat to use at rest and wakeboard storage. NO trailer, but options available.
